Small Jaguar Mask

Our small Jaguar mask is a modern take on traditional Tigua wooden mask hand carved and painted by Manuel Toaquiza a skilled artisans of Tigua. Tigua masks  traditionally depict animals and traditions from the Ecuadorian Andes and Amazon. Traditionally these masks where and in fact are still used in popular festivities in the highlands of Ecuador.
