Large Lobo Mask

Our Lobo mask is a traditional Tigua wooden mask hand carved and painted by Manuel Toaquiza a skilled artisan of Tigua. Tigua masks  traditionally depict animals and popular characters from the Ecuadorian Andes and the Amazon jungle. Traditionally these masks where and in fact are still used in popular festivities in the highlands of Ecuador.

Hanging cord, pine tree wood and acrylic paint.

*Each mask is hand carved and hand painted, small variations may occur. Allow a minimum of two weeks for this item to be ready.
