Mama Negra Mask

Our Mama Negra mask is a traditional Tigua wooden mask hand carved and painted by our skilled artisans of Tigua. Tigua masks  traditionally depict animals and traditions from the Ecuadorian Andes and Amazon. Traditionally these masks where and in fact are still used in popular festivities in the highlands of Ecuador.
