Our Macana Shawls and Ponchos are hand loomed by Piedad Ulloa using a traditional waist loom and ikat weaving technique. Piedad belongs to a family of weavers from Gualaceo a community located in the southern Andean region of Ecuador. She has been weaving beautiful designs for Olga Fisch for over two decades.
