The Quipus Tapestry is handwoven from artisanal sheep’s wool on a traditional foot pedal loom, preserving Ecuador’s authentic weaving practices. Designed by Olga Fisch in the 1950s, this tapestry is inspired by the quipus, an ancient South American tool used for bookkeeping.

Each tapestry is crafted by three skilled artisans, and due to the handcrafted nature of the process, every piece is unique. Please note that this item is made to order, with a production time of 15 days before shipping.
